Chalet Sports—This is an outdoors sports store with a comprehensive buy, rent, service ski department. You can also find plenty of ski and winter sports apparel. BOZEMAN

Caravan Skis—Local ski manufacturer that works toward the perfect combination of performance, design, and sustainability. They describe theirs skis as a “light, snappy and durable ski that you can feel good about.” Sounds right to us. BOZEMAN

Valley Bicycles and Skis—Just look to this company’s name. In the winter, they offer cross-country ski rentals, as well as accessories and services. In the summer, they do bikes. HAMILTON

Sportsman and Ski Haus—Huge outdoor sporting goods store with plenty of skis, snowboards, demos, rentals, and services. Plus, a ton of accessories and apparel. WHITEFISH/KALISPELL

Great Northern Cycle and Ski—This place offers demo skis, boots, fittings, and apparel. They also have a ski shop that offers tune, wax, bindings, and plenty of service packages. WHITEFISH
